Instagram for iOS updated to v2.1

Instagram, which is the most popular photography and uploading app for iOS, having more than 15 million users worldwide has been updated to version 2.1 bringing in a new feature and a filter and also total haul to the user-interface making it more easy to use.

With this update, now Instagram users will be able to use a new feature namely the ‘Lux’. With Lux, users can make their photos more vibrant and bringing out details that are not visible before applying this feature. There is also an option to use it with a filter or without.

There has been an addition to the existing filters with ‘Sierra’ which gives you more choice to improve your pictures. Also the makers of the app have simplified the over-all look and user interface of the app making it easier to use than ever. The improved header and menu buttons are the first step of this. Also now, when users tap on an Instagram notification in the iOS Notification Center, you’re brought directly to the relevant photo, comment or user profile page in the app.
