A Tokyo court on Thursday ruled in favor of Apple Inc in a patent lawsuit over mobile devices filed by Samsung Electronics, the South Korean firm said.

The world's top two smartphone makers are engaged in a global legal battle over patents on smartphones and tablets, as they vie to win customers in the lucrative mobile market.

Nokia Lumia 720 and 520 coming to the UK on April 1

The Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 got their announcement at the MWC only a couple of days ago, but you can already buy them in the UK.
The superior of the two - Nokia Lumia 720 - can be pre-ordered for £300 right now and is said to start shipping on April 1.

In a manner similar to last year's dual arrangement, Samsung might offer its upcoming Galaxy S IVflagship with different CPU types. They reportedly include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 in the US or Exynos 5 Octa for areas where LTE networks are not present.

Sony releases experimental Firefox OS ROM for the Xperia E

Sony announced that it’s considering launching a Firefox OS phone next year and today released an experimental ROM to run the new Mozilla-made OS on the Sony Xperia E. This will give app developers a chance to evaluate the platform and give Sony valuable feedback.

New details on Sony Xperia SP surface

Sony Xperia SP already made a few appearances online, enough to get out attention. The first time we saw it pose in front of a camera back in the end of January. A few days later we learned that this mysterious phone will be called Xperia SP and it will be most probably released with another sibling - the Xperia L. Recently we got some info on the specs too.
From all the previous rumors before we learned the Xperia SP will be based on the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset utilizing a 1.7GHz dual-core Krait processor and Adreno 320 graphics. It was also supposed to sport at least a 4.3-inch 720p screen. Also, one of its three region-specific versions - the C5303 - should come with LTE radio.

Firefox OS running ZTE Open specs revealed before launch

We have been hearing about the Firefox OS for a while now. Now, ZTE is about to release their first smartphone based on Mozilla's open source operating system, the ZTE Open.
Unfortunately, we don't have any photographs of the device just yet but we do have some key specifications that were spotted at MWC, which hasn't even started yet.
