BlackBerry Bold 9790Research In Motion‘s latest mid-range handset, the BlackBerry Bold 9790, is now available over at Vodafone.
The Bold 9790 was launched in November, running the latest version ofBlackBerry software: BlackBerry OS 7. The software’s reworked UI is displayed on the phone’s 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, which comes paired with RIM’s traditionally tactile portrait QWERTY keypad.
Adopters of the phone will also find a 1GHz single-core processor, a 5 megapixel camera with VGA video, 8GB of memory expandable to 40GB, integrated NFC technology and fast HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
Although O2 are offering the phone on a cheap and cheerful £27 tariff, Vodafone are asking customers to sign-up to a steeper 24 month £31 contract to get their hands on a free BlackBerry handset. Still, this does come with a reasonable amount of monthly allowances, including; 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of monthly data.

Alternatively, you can opt for a cheaper £26 two-year-long tariff, although you’ll have to fork out £99 upfront to get your hands on the smartphone.
