HTC Desire 510 lands at Sprint on September 19

Sprint has announced that the HTC Desire 510 is officially coming to its stores. Furthermore, the launch will happen later this week - on Friday, September 19 to be precise.

That's when you'll be able to get a Desire 510 from Sprint for $199.99 outright (plus taxes). Alternatively, you can go the route of Sprint's Easy Pay installment scheme, which lets you shell out $0 (plus tax) upfront, then followed by 24 monthly payments of $8.34.

The exact same phone will also become available at Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile next week. Boost will get the white model starting on Monday, September 22, while Virgin will release the blue version on Tuesday, September 23. In both cases you can expect the pricing to be $99.99, sans contract of course.
The Desire 510 was unveiled by HTC back in August, and it sports Qualcomm's first 64-bit chipset to make it to an actual handset. It's still decidedly a mid-range affair though.
It's got a 4.7-inch 480x854 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing snapper, as well as support for Sprint's Spark LTE and HD voice.
As mentioned, running the show is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC, with a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU on board (which uses ARM's Cortex-A53 cores). 1 GB of RAM is in, along with 8GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot.
All the usual connectivity options are there, and the whole thing is kept juiced up by a 2,100 mAh battery. The Desire 510 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
