Looking to pick up the gsm-arena on a pay monthly contract? Well it looks like you won’t have long to wait, as it’s coming to the Carphone Warehouse next month.
No pricing details have yet been confirmed, but we’re assuming it’ll be available on the same steep contracts as the original Galaxy Note. Available on tariffs with O2, Orangeand Vodafone, the darker-hued Note can be picked up for free on a 24 month £41 contract, including 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data.
It may be pricey, but this is reflected in the phone’s high-end specs. Described as a smartphone-cum-tablet device, the Note packs a 5.3-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen, complete with a reworked version of Sammy’s TouchWiz UI which comes with onscreen stylus support.
There’s also a 1.4GHz dual-core chipset, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video, a front-facing camera with video call support, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, integrated NFC technology and either 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage.
Looking for a white phone on a wallet-friendly budget? Carphone has also revealed that it’ll be selling the Samsung Galaxy Ace in White, which is also expected to drop next month.
